Hi Ed and all. My experience is limited to selfhost.com and my current service which is dyndns.org. I have had 2 static ip addresses with dyndns now for over a month, and have had no downtime what so ever. As these things go, I am new to them, but if dyndns is any example, I'm quite happy.
