List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: Hi all. I know mplayer has been mentioned in the past, but I haven't seen the following problem occuring. Well here goes. When I go to play a divx file using the alsa9 output driver, the avi will play for about 30 seconds and freeze midstream. It won't play the mp3 portion properly. I understand that alsa support isn't stable in mplayer yet, so it was understandable that I got some pops and clicks through my speakrs. However, when I tried mplayer -vo null -ao oss incoming/file.avi, I got the same result, but without the clicks. I have the oss emulation modules loaded, so I am assuming that they are being used? I have player 0.90pre3-2.95. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and if so how can I remedy it? Thanks in advance, Igor Gates go to hell, your OS is waiting for you there!
