List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: Hi all. Actually, if you just don't want to have to listen to all the boot stuff, just hitting the enter on the keypad should suffice. Hitting insert and enter actually turns speakup off, and then you have to hit insert and enter again to turn it back on. Maybe you already knew this, but from what you said I thought I should mention it. I am using the 2.4.18 kernel with speakup and have had no problems, but maybe speakup has been updated in cvs since I compiled.
