List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: Hi guys. Have been working with the head developer for a linux distribution called Sorcerer Linux. Kyle's added speakup in to the installation kernel for the system and included it on the iso image that's used to install the system. I'd test it out but I won't have a cd burner til tomorrow and am wondering if there's anyone willing to burn the cd and let me know if you can get it to speak. http://sorcerer.wox.org/download is the place to get the image. The iso is distributed as a bz2 file so you'll need to run it through bunzip2 before burning to cd. You should be able to pass the speakup_synth option to the kernel. linux speakup_synth=synth_name should work. Tommy
