List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: It's time to revisit the sound card problem. I have an Aureal Vortex 1. There is no native Linux support for it. Nor is there support in the ALSA setup. I got a driveer set from Sourceforge, unpacked it, followed the directions in the "README", and still can't install the modules.
