List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: That's one big difference, I suppose; I do not have the alsa drivers installed. I figured I'd keep it as simple as possible til I really get things going here. Then I may install them as I understand they are required to run speak freely. One thing for sure, I can at least use the sound devices. It has got to be permission related for non root users.
