List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: It was referring to another person *smile* To expand more on this what I've done is booted into only dos and then used rawrite.exe from realdos mode. Also, hit your control key or what ever turns off your dos screen reader off. If you don't have a dos screen reader then just cd \directory of where ever the files are and type rawrite speakup.i a: and press enter. When you hear the floppy stop spinning it should be completed. Now boot with it. After the floppy is read for a bit and stops doing nothing it is at the lilo prompt. At this point type: ramdisk speakup_synth=xxx where xxx is the 4 to 6 code for your synthesizer. Press enter and you will hear the floppy spinning again, this is while it loads the kernel. If all goes well your machine will start speaking. >>From there you can follow the directions. It will ask you to replace the kernel disk with a root disk which you should have previously rawritten to a floppy. rawritten is that a word? Anyway, write if you still have troubles.
