It might be some evil plot to send students into the workplace with the
skills that are currently needed in the workforce. It could be that they
are thrying to second guess what will be needed.
While there are many jobs that don't involve any programming that will run
on a Winblows machine, there are many more jobs that will have you program
for a winblows machine. Colleges are in the evil numbers game and want
their students to find jobs so that more students will be suckered into
the experiance.
