I was able to get the Fedora Core 1.0 working. Speakup gave me speech throughout the installation process. I could only choose grub as the boot manager and when I rebooted it came up in graphical mode. Fortunately it beeps at the login prompt and I can get to the console with ctrl alt f1. I am having trouble with gnopernicus. The speech is too fast and the magnification is too small and garbled. Still easier to get installed than any other OS I've ever used!
