If I recall correctly, Speaker isn't even being unmuted in the current editio n. That'll be fixed. There are two distinct complaints about volume. One group says that it is too high, while the other says that it is too low. In the end, I'll probably just set all volumes to 95%. People can lower them, if necessary. In fact, it's really easy to change espeakup's volume, using the keystrokes speakup+1 and speakup+2 (I.E., the standard keys, not the numpad keys). This method sets espeakup's volume, independently of all other audio on the system. -- Chris
