Subject: espeak & the word "heim"
Date: Wed, 28 Mar 2012 19:42:54 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <5E16D2FBE58E478EB9815289C9746A6E@hinkle> (raw)

I've noticed that espeak mispronounces the word "heim". This happens to be
my name but it’s a part of a few words too. A lot of names end in "heim"
like Mannheim Steamroller and Framheim, the name of Roald Amundsen's ship.
Heim is pronounced to rhyme with time but espeak pronounces it to rhyme with
name. Anybody know how I can submit a change request to the espeak
developers? I suppose I can fix it every time I install espeak but it really
should be fixed in espeak itself.
