Hello!
Thankyou!
Do I need to have the speakup modules package installed before I do this?
I mean that you get when you run apt-get install
speakup-modules-2.6.26-1-686
Or can I just ignore to install that?
It is these modules that crashes my hole kernel.
/Kristoffer

wget
http://incoming.debian.org/speakup-source_3.0.3+git20090404.dfsg.1-1_all.deb
dpkg -i speakup-source_3.0.3+git20090404.dfsg.1-1_all.deb
apt-get install module-assistant
m-a a-i speakup
and then modprobe speakup_soft shouldn't lock your machine.
Samuel
