As I am new to this and am not sure which packages I need, I opted to install the files for a desktop computer. Now I find that the system boots in to x windows. So my questions are should I have avoided tasksel completely and used another way of getting what I need, when I need it? Also, there did not seem to be much added to the info tool which I am finding useful to get to know the system so can I update this in some way? Also, I do not seem to be able to find fetchmail on the system which I believe I will need for retrieving mail by pop3 So, do I need to start with another install or can I get rid of all this graphical stuff? Also, I am not certain that a command line browser has been installed I would like to know which one is good for a beginner with speakup?
