Subject: Re: FC3, problem with grub after yum update? I think what hapen is that you installed another kernel when you updated your system with yum, so now you have more than 2 linux kernels in your grub.conf file. So, Windows is probably number 2 instead of number 1. I think that moving windows to the top of the file is probably your best bet. However, remember that the next time you install another kernel, it will probably put it self at the start of the file. So, don't forget to check... David B. I checked the grub.conf and noticed that it had reverted to default=0. I changed it back to default=1; However it no longer seems to be honoring that parameter, as it still boots Linux by default. > > Any suggestions as to how to fix this would be much appreciated. > > TIA, > > --Al > > > _______________________________________________ > Speakup mailing list > Speakup@braille.uwo.ca > http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup _______________________________________________ Speakup mailing list Speakup@braille.uwo.ca http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup
