And your's truly replied: I use the "beep" package, and because my internal computer speaker SUCKS, I normally do a 2600Hz beep, followed by a normal beep, followed by another 2600Hz beep. This is because I'm commonly on IRC where if anyone uses my nickname, the system beeps at me. HTH, Michael
