There is also a speakup info page on the sysresccd wiki: http://www.sysresccd.org/speakup-info If you're using a dectalk express as your synth, you'll want to use sysresccd 1.1.2beta4, since it looks like we've gotten the dectalk bug squashed that was in sysresccd 1.1.0, and 1.1.1, thanks to Luke's testing, and reporting back. Also, there is a problem booting sysresccd 1.1.1 on some hardware configs, that has been fixed in 1.1.2beta4 also. So, unless the word beta makes you turn, run, and stay far away, you're better off using the latest beta of 1.1.2, as opposed to the latest stable 1.1.1. Hth.
