The config shows many fb options as yes or modular and the framebuffer-support option is set to 'y'. But there is no /dev/fb device shown and when I did a find . -iname fb* inside the /lib/modules directory, I found nothing. When I look in aptitude for linux-modules, all I find is linux-modules-2.6.26-1-xen-686 and that is incompatible with my version; the name is slightly different and it created a separate directory in /lib/modules with the xen in the name; it does have the fb modules but I think that xen package is for a 2.6.26.8 kernel if I read things right. I would think there should be a linux-modules for the original 2.6.26-1 image. Am I missing something or what? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEAREDAAYFAkkA0DsACgkQWSjv55S0LfHhigCfUN19TLszFN3WbBaJ4z44XE3O Cy4AoN8VsBSN19LkPdNoj3yq6IshqjKh =Ysbe -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
