Hi all.
Can someone please tell me if it is possible to get rid of unneeded
dependencies in debian? For example, say I install package x, which
depends on package y, and let's say that package y depends on package
z.
If I later remove package x, packages y and z are still on the system,
although nothing else depends on them. So, is there a way to either
tell apt-get to remove packages y and z if x was removed, and nothing
else needs y and z, or to have apt-get scan for unneeded packages and
remove them?
Thanks in advance.
Greg
