I first downloaded the PortAudio source but could not get it installed that way. So I did a check on slapt-get to see if there was a package for it....sure enough, there was and I installed it. Then, I had to create a symlink libportaudio.so.0 to point to libportaudio.so. There is another portaudio file there, a .so file with a version string at the end so I am not totally sure to which file I should be linking. Then, I try running the synth and get this error: speak: symbol lookup error: speak: undefined symbol: Pa_StreamActive Can anyone tell me what is up with this?
