There is no keynote gold chip, there's instead a keynote dll. As for the idea posted earlier about burning the ROM, keep in mind that the ROM is limitted in size, especially on the older units, since my understanding is that the pk and mpower have more ROM, which is flashable as well, so no need to pull out the ROM on the newer units. Yes, you can put the kernel and a ramdisk in ROM, but everything else will have to run off the flash disk, or maybe a pcmcia/cf drive.
