You can certainly use them both without trouble, because each is a front end to rpm which does the real work. But, you'll not install speech-dispatcher via apt or yum for the same reason, namely that no one has created an rpm package for speech-dispatcher yet. > Also does it include emacs and emacspeak. Thanks! Yes, but you'll have to do the last steps to get emacspeak working by hand. Furthermore, you'll probably want to upgrade emacspeak, which is available in an rpm. Janina
