I've been saving many informative e-mails on this subject so perhaps I can take on the task of installing and running this stuff and build some concise documentation to specifically address getting Speakup to work with the Speech dispatcher. Thanks, Amere for the startup script; that should come in handy when I get there. It also helps lay down some groundwork necessary to get it all running.
