However, when I tried patching 2.4.25 with the famous checkout script and did a make mrproper; make menuconfig, make dep I keep getting this error make -c speakup fastdep: target not found. That's the same error I got when I tried kernel 2.4.20. The patch seemd to go ok, (no .rej) files). Has anyone else tried patching from cvs lately? I'm also using speakup as a module which might have something to do with it. Chris
