Instead, I've upgraded two systems which were running the beta version of what is now Fedora Core 1.0 using YUM (the Yellow-dog Upgrade Manager). Yum is, well, it's yummie. So, give it a try. Get and install yum and point it at the Fedora release repository. The worst that can happen is that it won't work, and you'll have to install. So, if you're ready to install, try yum first. Of course, play it safe and take a backup copy of /etc and your mailboxes, etc., etc -- the usual pre-installation precautions.
