I enabled in the kernel usb section the 2 different choices that there are for an atapi to usb bridge, and loaded the usb-storage module. It tells me though after I turn on the usb hard drive thing that the product and vendor id is not claimed by any active driver. My /proc/bus/usb/devices is below.
