List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: I am using RP-PPPOE on slackware 8 with no problems. Just make sure you either have PPP compiled into your kernel or as a module but not both or you will run into problems. This happened to me earler this week and it took a couple of hours of messing around before I found out I had both PPP compiled in the kernel and a module in my module tree.
