Whenever I take the system down to init level 1 (single user mode), and bring it back up to init level 3 (multiuser mode) under slackware, the khttpd manager process goes zombie, and refuses to die. I've tried killall "khttpd manager", and kill pid, but nothing works. Is there anything else I can do short of rebooting? Thanks in advance. Greg
