Hi. It seems that you don't have either Alsasound or oss
installed? You will have to install one of these before
you can use audio support. And in terms of xlib6g, this
is one of the many xwindows libraries. It will be needed
for video playback whenever you wish to play video and
audio. I just got them because I thought that I might
watch movies under X with friends in the future, so its
good to have it now rather than later. As far as I know,
the files mentioned in Johann's guide are still
applicable. Hope this helps.
