List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: Sounds like a hardware problem to me even though it happens on both machines (I'm assuming this is the case). I've got a doubletalk pc here with slackware 8.0 and kernel 2.4.17 and latest cvs speakup, and never experienced this during long reading sesions.
