Subject: red hat 7.1 problems
Date: Sat, 8 Sep 2001 12:45:50 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20010908194550.NUWM569.femail25.sdc1.sfba.home.com@tspivey8> (raw)

I'm trying to evaluate red hat, but one of my problems is:
what ftp site should i use?
speakup.octothorp.org worked, until it got to abyward (2 hours after i was gone) and it failed. it wasn't there. i can't risk not instlaing
everything since i can't install it after with such ease.
what is the mirror for bill's site? 198.something , forgot.
i heard it somewhere.
and the install process has a realy long delay between the reading pkg data and the package sollection.
and why is glibc-common 101 mb?
btw: speakup worked with hybrid 0.
