List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: Hi Pat, Hmmmmm, I think it does what you want it to do. You'd have to look in its docs to see just exactly what it does. CDrecord works pretty well for me. But I run scripts that set the bit rate and so on. Abcde does a good job as far as I know. I haven't tried it yet. It's available as a Debian package I know. Dunnow about RH or other distros.
