Cheryl and all,
I used an existing account and was able to sign in and view data etc. I did
not try to pay any bills or set up a new payee or anything like that. I
also had some issues with getting in and the states and all and it seems
that for some obsucre reason, you are presented with different interfaces
when you log in. One thing I did do is set cookies to be accepted. The
second time I logged in, I did not get the state requirement. Also, I
discovered that there is a sign on link on the page with the states which
takes you to the sign on form bypassing the state thing. I hope this helps.
Once I went to the sign on form, I just signed in as usual.

Subject: BOA online not so straightforward
Well, there are more problems--maybe.
Has anybody actually gotten as far as USING BOA online?
I just went through the enrollment, to find out I'd already been enrolled
during the appliction process apparently. so went to online banking.
First, I got a message that said online banking was currently unavailable
and to try again later. Below that it gave me a link to sign in for a
state other than null. By the way, the second time I tried this the link
said "state other than california. so I entered on that, and
found in the state selection box it already has me as Virginia (don't ask
me why they assigned me as virginia; don't know how they do people that
don't actually have a bank in their state). Entered on the link to
continue and had to sign in again. from there I was taken to the User
agreement; by the way had to use "L' in the browser to really get full
sight of the links; no path that I could find out of this agreement. since
I already checked an agreement box in the enrollment part, I don't think I
had to accept it again to continue; there was supposed to be a box for "I
don't agree" which I didn't see, and I noticed javascript on some links.
Haven't tried calling to confirm what's going on yet, but either online
banking is down or we still can't do a blessed thing with it!!!
Links the chain has a way to change user agent. I
really like lynx better, but will try anything at this point.
So I did this in the links.cfg. You only get so far with that, and then
you get to a screen that asks youto select your state, and you just keep
getting that screen over and over because apparently the your selection
doesn't go through. However, while it doesn't really help, you get a lot
of information on the screens using links that you don't get with the cat.
Can anybody hear me screaming!!!!!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
