List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: Doesn't InternetExplorer's notion of what's a binary file come from the info for the file extension being downloaded? I know that windows stores a command to be run whenever that file is acted upon in some way by the windows shell (windows explorer). Along with the list of explorer actions and associated commands, their is a field for associated mime type. So, if something isn't being treated as binary when you think it should be, I'd look at the file extensions dialog box in windows explorer usually accessed by viewMenu\options. Just my two cents...
