I have always wanted to either keep a version that is easy to maintain, and have a software synthesizer that works out of the box. I had a friend turn me onto one, it is called grml. Now I would like to see if I could find the IBM via voice and see if I could get that working. I am not real strong in the command line world though. My questions are. Could someone tell me where I could obtain the IBM via voice engine? Next is speak up solely for the command line, or will it work with x window manager?
