I've switched the router to open-wep, and set the key via iwconfig wlan0 key and set essid. I've tried setting the ap to mac, and it still looks like it's trying to get an ip from a server that won't give it one. Basically I need to move this computer out of it's current location really soon, and I'm trying to get wireless set up so I can still have a linux box to work with. Any help would really be appriciated, hope I'm giving enough information.
