I have read several interesting documents that gave me the history of SMB and described UDP, TCP and port numbers 137:139 etc. This has been some of the most interesting reading since I took Distributed Systems in the Fall of 2000. But! Since, I'm in a work environment where I need to get something working quickly, I need a more direct document that gives a how-to, if I know IP addresses, group domains, and how to share Windows. Any pointers to a simple guide will be grately appreciated. thanks Mark Rew e-mail: mark.rew@noaa.gov 301-713-0262 x131
