Subject: installing via serial
Date: Tue, 22 Jul 2008 14:06:13 -0600 [thread overview]

Hello list,
I'd like to be able to do a self-install of debian, and other OS's as well.
Is there a way that I can make any of the following use a serial install?
I can get SecureCRT and get me a null-modem cable and a pci-serial card, and run the install through SecureCRT--and it might be better than buying an external synth:
slack,
gentu,
debian,
mandrake,
fedora
also bsd would be fun to play with--if I had serial, I wouldn't have to rely on ssh as well.
Thanks,
