Earlier when I was playing around, I discovered, to my surprise that a = Keynote SA (in this case, a braille note in remote synth mode) worked = using the accent SA driver! Here are some observations. When you first load speakup with the acntsa driver, you'll here some = garbage, which is just probing code and init code for the synth. = However, once this has finished, the keynote starts speaking fine! Second, pitch commands to increase pitch on capital letters didn't work, = which was to be expected. I herd code such as p8 E p5. Lastly, speech interuption either didn't work, or only kicked in after a = few seconds, unlike flite, which does work in this area. Perhaps someone could use this info to develope a proper SA driver?
