Subject: Speech Dispatcher with Emacspeak Server
Date: Sun, 19 Nov 2006 15:13:51 +1100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <001c01c70b91$30cf8ba0$f400a8c0@blake7> (raw)

Hi all.

I would like to know if I could tell Dispatcher to use an Emacspeak server. The reason for asking is I am having problems with using IBM TTS speech.

IBM TTS speech works for a period of 5 minutes or less and then stops. I have to restart Speech-dispatcher and speakupd.

In orca, if I us the Emacspeak Outloud server, I don't have any problems.

Note, the problem I have mention does occur with Orca when using Speech dispatcher.

Any help would be great.

Sean
