I kind of thought that this = was the case in terms of version reference, but I wasn't sure. I = currently have gcc 2.95. So no wonder it didn't work! Anyway, I just = thought of another problem. I know that if you want to make = winBlows-created text files readable under linux, you have to use = dos2unix to remove the crlf character and just leave the lf. Do you have = to do something similar to binaries i.e., tar archives tar.gz? Do you = have to use a similar program to convert binaries?
