hello, what is the best way for me to upgrade my kernel?

I have fedora core 2, the speakup enabled version, I got this back in =
may,, and have no upgraded anything sine, and I'd like to upgrade to =
2.6.8.1 kernel.  any help will be greatly appreciated.  thanks
