I've = been trying to load the FC2 install off the first CD. It boots fine, = because when I type in text speakup_synth=3Ddtlk and hit enter, the CD = spins up. But the DoubleTalk does not begin to talk. So my question is, is there a way to test the card to see if it works? I = don't have another machine to put it in unfortunately. With an external = synth, I would just boot a DOS boot disk and echo a statement to the = serial port it was on, but I'm not sure how to go about this with an = internal ISA card. Thanks in advance.
