Actually, look at Netscape, Winamp (Nullsoft), and ICQ (Mirabilis); all
bought by AOL, and AOL's basically leaving them alone letting them
develop
their respective projects as they see fit.
I don't like a lot of things about AOL, or it's CEO, but the way they
treat
acquired subsidiaries isn't one of them.
