List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: Dave, First of all, the stock RH 7.2 loads the US keymap. I think you'll find the line in "/etc/rc.d/rc.local". Look for a line containing "loadkeys". Regarding the no speech at login prompt: I'm guessing you have a "getty" line in your "/etc/inittab" that puts a login session on the same serial port as your doubletalk? If yes, comment it out. Better yet, make an "inittab" with and without the line. Regards, -Dave
