Subject: Killing a module
Date: Wed, 20 Feb 2002 01:50:54 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <000101c1b9a9$35480b10$0100a8c0@Cybertsar> (raw)
Hello, listers!
Does anyone know what steps I should take in order to kill a module from the
memory? One of my module locked the modem up and does not want to be
removed. Whenever I try rmmod with either -a or the -r options, I always get
"device or resource busy". What is the other to kill a monster? of course, I
understand that I can always reboot, but how would I do it without one?
Best and thanks,
Vic
