Zipspeak 7.1: Changing keyboard layout

Hello,

I need to change the keyboard driver from US to swiss german. I can do it
temparary with the command  loadkeys sg-latin1 but I didin't manage it to
change it for good with in any conficuration files.

I have played around with the file called rc.keymap or any thing like that
but without any success. I know that is the file that I need to change but
how I have to do it?

Hi Petra:  I am afraid I don't know the initialization directory
structure of Redhat very well.  Well, not at all actually.  There will
be a place in the boot sequence where loadkeys is clled to load the
keymap you want.  I will warn you though that you will lose your
speakup review functions if you just arbitrarily load the Swiss German
keymap.  I think I have a diff file someplace which you can apply to
any non-us keymap to put the speakup keys in.  If you write me off
list I'll try to find it and send it to you.
