In answer to the how do I g??? et notifications to work?

I put this in my autostart.sh past the bin/bash stuff in this order:


/usr/lib/notification-daemon-1.0/notification-daemon &

orca


That gives me notifications for things like messages, emails in 
Thunderbird, et al
