You need to add the name of your system with a fake ip address to the file
/etc/hosts like this
10.1.1.1 blink.blink.net blink
Then configure sendmail appropriately
The other way you can do it if you have trouble is to go
127.0.0.1 blink.blink.net blink
This uses the loopback device for connections to your own machine, and
saves you playing with ifconfig and route, however, if your system ever
goes live, it will break *everything*
So remember to change it if you're ever planning on putting your system on
the net even if its only via ppp/slip
Sorry this is a little unclear but its been *ages* since I had to
configure a system without networking installed. <smile>.

Take an active stand against the NTEU wage claim.
Let them know loud and clear that blackmail will not be tollerated.
