Hello,
I am looking for a decent scheduling program suitable for setting
up daily alarms. I know emacspeak has the calendar's appointment feature,
but that doesn't seem to support a whole lot in the way of recurring
alarms. Any suggestions on this matter are greatly appreciated. I'm
using Oralux, which is based on Knoppix.

Thanks,
Terrence

If Linux can't solve your computing problem, you need a different problem.

Also, there's the at command and there are cron jobs. So, you have
choices and many resources.

I typically use the at command to have my computer play music when I'm
traveling as an alarm clock to wake me up. Works well.

PS: Sorry for taking two messages to get all this out.
