Hello,
This may be a little off topic so write me privately please. I'm looking
for a commandline or prefered a network capable mp3 player. What i'd like
is something that does the things windows winamp does, with playlists and
shuffling, but can be run from either the commandline or via a web
interface. Basically i want to transform a machine i have in to a
software mp3 jukebox.
Thanks.
Dave.

Hi.
Try www.sourceforge.net. Look up linux jukebox in the search box. This
should give you plenty of options. Hope this helps.

http://www.eklhad.net/linux/app may have some interesting applications for
you. I'm trying to get edbrowse working now. You need to download the
sample .jukerc file since that's the configuration sample file for the
player too.

Objection: don't keep quiet about such a tool, I bet there are many
that would like one of these, including me!

GA!
